Sheehan-Horton Home

Built by carpenter John Sheehan, this is one of the oldest wooden frame houses in St. Joseph. Inn 1864 Edwin R. Horton, a clerk and freight agent for The St. Joseph and W. Railroad purchased the Greek Revival style home.

Cross 12th street from the Sheehan-Horton House to find the Francis Bacon House on the southwest corner of 12th and Sylvanie.
